It was an outstanding weekend for Pepe Group, with big results coming from the first round of Italian Nationals held on the beautiful Fiorano track. Let’s start off from the 1/8th Expert class, where the 9 time World Champion Lamberto Collari took the win in the highly contested main final, leading a MLC 1-2 with Marco Vanni in second!
In the 1/10 200mm Expert class it was Alessio Mazzeo to make the MLC flag rise and wave when he dominated the event taking TQ, win and setting the fastest lap of the race! Behind him, on a full “Made in Pepe Group” podium, Dante Piersante and Mario Spiniello (MLC).
In the 1/8th F2 class the youngster Marco Bianchi took his XRD powered ARC to victory, thus taking the Energy Fuel brand under the spotlight with him!
It was a good race for Emanuele Adami in the 200mm F1 class, where the MLC driver took second after only surrendering to Manuel Strano, achieving very important points in the championship’s bigger picture.
